If we don’t act, by 2050 air conditioning by itself will consume 13% of all electricity worldwide. On an ever warming planet, that percentage will only grow. We can’t be part of the problem.

We know that air conditioning is bad for the environment, and we must be a part of the solution. That’s why we’ve designed July to be more energy efficient than other A/Cs, with less emissions and less energy consumed.
Still, there’s a lot of work we can and will do.
Two-thirds less emissions.
We use a state-of-the-art refrigerant called R32 in our Medium. It has 2/3rds less GWP (global warming potential) than most A/Cs found on the market today. This means that it traps 2/3 less heat in our atmosphere.
Your July is carbon offset.
We’ve partnered with CarbonFund.org to offset the first year’s emissions of every July we sell. This goes towards aiding reforestation across the globe - a critical step in reducing the impact of global warming.
10% less energy consumed.
Simply put: The Medium July is more energy-efficient. That means July saves you money on your energy bill.
There’s work to be done.
All this is good, but it’s not nearly good enough. We know there’s not going to be a one-and-done magical solution to the problems facing our planet, but we will continue to invest and prioritize practices and products that will mitigate our environmental impact.
