Love this A/C
July is the first A/C unit I've seen that isn't an eyesore, that looks sleek and modern in a window and is easy to install and use. My favorite feature is the Auto setting, which my old unit didn't have; I just set a temperature and July maintains it. My bedroom WiFi connection is pretty poor, but my July connects without issue and I can control it from my phone. The installation took just minutes, and I love how the bottom of the unit is designed so you can easily grip it and won't crush your fingers when you put it down. I didn't have to worry about what to do with my old A/C because the installation team took it with them. And the customer service is amazing; it's not every day you see co-founders maintain such a hands-on engagement with customers. So excited to get my second July unit next year!
The best. Ever!!!!
I can’t express enough how much I love my July ac unit. First of all, it’s the best working ac ever. My nyc apartment actually gets cold -in August!! It’s quiet, efficient and I’m obsessed with the WiFi capability that makes my phone a remote.The installation was seamless, quick and extremely pleasant. Erik was so careful in my space and so kindly helped move an old ac unit for me as well. He’s a true class act and expert. I have to say though, my favorite feature is the aesthetic. It’s gorgeous. Who could ever say that about a window ac ??? It’s completely transformed my space and I am so thankful. Now the only problem is I’m yearning for two more!!!
The AC I never knew I needed
My July AC was recently installed and delivered. It's my first "smart" AC and I love it! It cools down my apartment really well and the app is user friendly and comprehensive. I've reached out to the support team with a few questions and Alex answers almost immediately. I'm almost sad that the weather is changing and I wont get to use it as often. Very happy with my purchase!
Sleek, seamless product with a quality team behind it
Can’t say thanks enough to Muhammad and team for their detailed care in delivering my July unit! They carried it up 5 flights of stairs and expertly installed in my window in less than 15 minutes. It’s been wonderful so far - my apartment is 100x cooler than with the one it replaced and love the app functionality. The remote (which found its way out of the original box) arrived practically the next day and is great for a backup, though the app is my go-to. Quality product with unmatched customer service - it was certainly worth the wait!
Efficient and powerful
My July is great. I had to wait a bit to receive it as they were on preorder, but toally worth it. It cools down my room in no time (it's August, and it's hot) and I love the wood panel that matches my furniture.
Quiet and Beautiful
My issue with A/Cs has always been how loud they are. I find July much better than ones I've had before. Plus, the installation was as easy as advertised. I haven't set up WiFi yet but I'm looking forward to it. Highly recommend
Clean, Functional
I think the July unit is the best value when you consider design and experience. The team quickly and seamlessly delivered and installed the unit (included in the price) and love that they remove and recycle your old AC in the meantime.

July is a well thought out unit. Not only is it unique in design, it is visually appealing. The app is very simple to use and the remote has soft keys. The frame allows for the easiest installation ever! The panels function like side shades blocking outside air and adding to the modern design!

Two nice, professional men delivered my july a.c. unit and installed it seamlessly within 10 minutes, then explained the user's manual and gave me a quick demo. My favorite feature is the DRY option that eliminates the humidity in the room - total game changer. The unit also looks nice and sleek.

I love my July! It's so much quieter and does a much better job cooling than my old unit. The installation is as easy as promised--I did it myself with no issues. Plus I love that it connects to wifi so I can control it from my phone. Great customer service as well--I was kept informed for all steps of the delivery and any issues were sorted out immediately. Totally worth the wait!
The easiest A/C to install
I've traditionally installed and de-installed my window A/C every year, which is a huge pain. With July, the installation was shockingly easy AND the de-installation was equally simple. Beyond that, it's got great design. But I no longer fear taking my A/C out every winter!
A really smart A/C
July is amazing! I found it super easy to install, even though I've had trouble with installing A/Cs in the past. My favorite part is the app: I have pets at home, so I can turn on for a short time while I'm at work, without having to run it the whole day. Game changer!
July is POWERFUL!
My old A/C was always a pain and I never thought it cooled well enough. July has totally changed that for me - it kept my apartment ice cold. I like that they have a carbon offset, so I know that my use is not having a terrible impact on the environment!
An A/C like no other!
July is honestly the best looking A/C that's out there - and the quality of the actual product lives up to the images. Really easy to install too.
Great app features
July looks great, but my favorite thing about it is that I can control it with my Alexa. WiFi and app were simple to get set up, and then I was able to connect it to Alexa in no time. Great product!
Finally, an AC that is isn't visually offensive!
I love my July AC. I didn't have it professionally installed and though it was pretty heavy, I was able to install it on my own fairly easily. It looks clean and attractive in the window, and once I purchased the plexiglass kit it looked better and let in a good amount of light. I love being able to turn it on from my phone, and it seems a bit quieter than other AC units I've had. Any time I've had an issue or a question, customer service has been super responsive and helpful.
Looks nice but not that different than a typical AC
Set up was easier than some other ACs but not as easy as they make it seem. My first unit didn't work - it was annoying waiting for the new one but customer service was great. I don't like that there's a small gap underneath the unit and my window frame (this might be different with other windows). It doesn't cool as effectively as I'd like - though had this issue with another AC in the same room so it might be something with the room. Happy overall with it but was a bit disappointed from my expectations.
I love my July A/C unit. The WiFi remote control is incredibly convenient. I love that there are plenty of settings to really customize how I want to use the unit.
Love the WiFi remote capabilities and variety of settings. I did have some issues with installation. The unit came dented (not necessarily July's fault, I know things happen during shipping/delivery). One of the tracks on the bottom of the unit was bent out of shape, making it really difficult to install on my own. Additionally, I think there could be improvements made to the window frame. the pull-out shades on either side of the unit to fit the window are a bit flimsy and don't provide any insulation from the outdoors (or insects). Installing the unit through the window frame was also difficult because the frame's two pieces kept coming apart. I really like the concept of a customizable front panel design, but I think there's room for improvement in how the removable plate is attached. It's magnetic, but one of the magnets fell off and now the panel often rattles quite loudly when the unit is in use. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase, but I think improvement upon some of the above items would really elevate how great the July unit is.

PERFECTION
Quiet and efficient. I honestly bought this because I thought it looked nice but it works even better than it looks. I never thought I would care about wifi compatible ac but wow what a dream. Biking back from the beach and turning on the just in time for my apartment to be perfectly cold when I get home is something I never thought I would experience. It doesn't hurt to look either.

Easy installation, looks great, really nice interface. It is not the most powerful A/C I've owned, and it takes a while to fully cool a small bedroom. It can be loud; when you remove small plugs to decrease condensation (which makes it quieter), you lose out on energy-saving benefits!

Much better looking than other AC units on the market and the frame in particular is a great innovation. I was able to install it myself with no help and it came out level and looking great.

Nice looking okay functioning
I think July looks nice. It's not hard to understand how it functions but there are areas they could improve. There is a big gap between the unit when the installed and the window ledge that wasn't there in the previous unit. Bugs and cold air can get in easily. Haven't found a solution for that yet. The panels on the side rip and crease easily. They installed the bedroom unit on the fire escape side and we didn't realize that until they left. We had to reinstall it on the other side and the panels got some tears in them. The front cover comes off easily because it is stuck on with magnets. Bought 3 units probably wouldn't buy in my next home unless those issues had been addressed.
Beautiful, effective, perfect
Finally an air conditioner that isn't ugly! I have the simple all-white July, and I love it. I've started decorating it with stickers and it's pretty cute. It's a lot quieter than the A/C units I've had in the past. The "Dry" function is amazing for the gross humid weather in NYC. It's also nice to be able to control from my phone when I'm not home!
Yes, I have two in my one bedroom
"I preordered the small one in February - this one I had installed by the July people in my bedroom, which was so quick and easy for me. It was so important for me to get a physically and visually unobtrusive because the side of the foot of my bed is necessarily about six inches from that window. This was perfect. I like that the auto setting makes sense and isn't arbitrary. I like that I can actually find the remote on my nightstand. Criticisms in the middle: this is as hard or harder for one normal person to install or remove by themselves than a regular ac. It's fine, absolutely doable, but it's not as easy as advertised. It'd be super easy with a co-star. SECOND one. So the bedroom on was great, but I still work at home. Luckily when I broke down and finally went ac shopping for my living room (there is no door between that and my kitchen, so I needed to account for the extra space sucking away the cold), the large July was available for 30 seconds. I did shop around for this one, because I didn't NEED something so pretty and did need something effective. It's cheaper than the very heavy utilitarian ones, and is perfect (the space it cools is about 310 sqft). Same everything else as above. This one was hard, physically and emotionally to put in, but isn't coming back out (the plexiglass sides are great but were hard for me to put in totally straight."

From actual cooling to app connectivity and smart home integration, July has made a solid modern solution for the ever-present window AC challenge. Most don't cool as effectively as July, and the app and smart home integration have literally never failed me (as of yet). My only complaint is that the material on the fabric front panel visibly catches dust more than I'd like, and the magnets aren't quite as strong as I think they need to be. Otherwise, no notes.
Best Air Conditioner Ever
I cannot say enough good things about my July. I went through four different air conditioners before I got my July, other ones kept shorting out in my pre-war building or were a huge headache to install. July works perfectly with my decor and isn't an eyesore, my super said he'd never seen an easier AC install, and the automation settings work great too. 10/10 have recommended to literally everyone.

All in all very satisfied. It looks cute, fits well with a small space, and when left on the 750 sft space cools well during the summer. Only issues are with the screen used to partition the outside: the tape doesn't stick well. But would get another unit :)

I was hesitant to try an a/c from a start-up, but I'm so glad I did! It was super easy to install and it looks great. Most important, it's so quiet and it cools my bedroom fast and efficiently. I'd buy another one if I had a place for it
The best window unit ever and the prettiest
Installation was easy, I was able to do it myself. I love that this a/c tends to blend in to the aesthetic of my room.
Powerful and quiet
This was a big upgrade. The AC is quiet and powerful. Kept us cool even during the hottest months of the summer in Brooklyn. Out old unit was really loud and the July is just like white noise when we have it on at night.
A/C is beautiful and works great!
Never had A/C before, largely for aesthetic reasons. This of course checks that box. And works super well! Cool as a cucumber. The bluetooth functionality too is huge. The app is a little janky and slow, but let's hope for improvements in v2.

Great experience, great AC. Very quiet, very efficient (electric bills noticeably less than with previous Frigidaire AC), cools very well and looks clean and modern. Installation easy.
I love how quiet it is and all of the settings, and I especially like the dry sanding for a day when it‚ it's very humid. I just wish it were a little bit smaller.
Installation was very easy. It's actually a little bigger than my other smaller unit but it certainly is a lot nicer looking.

The cool air is blown from the top of the unit, helping air circulation instead of just blowing air in your face. Within seconds the entire room feels cooler. Considering how powerful it is, it is also pretty darn quiet. Worth it!

I was hesitant to try an a/c from a start-up, but I'm so glad I did! It was super easy to install and it looks great. Most important, it's so quiet and it cools my bedroom fast and efficiently. I'd buy another one if I had a place for it

Great experience, great AC. Very quiet, very efficient (electric bills noticeably less than with previous Frigidaire AC), cools very well and looks clean and modern. Installation easy.
I love how quiet it is and all of the settings, and I especially like the dry sanding for a day when it‚ it's very humid. I just wish it were a little bit smaller.
Installation was very easy. It's actually a little bigger than my other smaller unit but it certainly is a lot nicer looking.
Love this A/C
July is the first A/C unit I've seen that isn't an eyesore, that looks sleek and modern in a window and is easy to install and use. My favorite feature is the Auto setting, which my old unit didn't have; I just set a temperature and July maintains it. My bedroom WiFi connection is pretty poor, but my July connects without issue and I can control it from my phone. The installation took just minutes, and I love how the bottom of the unit is designed so you can easily grip it and won't crush your fingers when you put it down. I didn't have to worry about what to do with my old A/C because the installation team took it with them. And the customer service is amazing; it's not every day you see co-founders maintain such a hands-on engagement with customers. So excited to get my second July unit next year!

I can’t express enough how much I love my July ac unit. First of all, it’s the best working ac ever. My nyc apartment actually gets cold -in August!! It’s quiet, efficient and I’m obsessed with the WiFi capability that makes my phone a remote.The installation was seamless, quick and extremely pleasant. Erik was so careful in my space and so kindly helped move an old ac unit for me as well. He’s a true class act and expert. I have to say though, my favorite feature is the aesthetic. It’s gorgeous. Who could ever say that about a window ac ??? It’s completely transformed my space and I am so thankful. Now the only problem is I’m yearning for two more!!!
The AC I never knew I needed
My July AC was recently installed and delivered. It's my first "smart" AC and I love it! It cools down my apartment really well and the app is user friendly and comprehensive. I've reached out to the support team with a few questions and Alex answers almost immediately. I'm almost sad that the weather is changing and I wont get to use it as often. Very happy with my purchase!

Can’t say thanks enough to Muhammad and team for their detailed care in delivering my July unit! They carried it up 5 flights of stairs and expertly installed in my window in less than 15 minutes. It’s been wonderful so far - my apartment is 100x cooler than with the one it replaced and love the app functionality. The remote (which found its way out of the original box) arrived practically the next day and is great for a backup, though the app is my go-to. Quality product with unmatched customer service - it was certainly worth the wait!

July is a well thought out unit. Not only is it unique in design, it is visually appealing. The app is very simple to use and the remote has soft keys. The frame allows for the easiest installation ever! The panels function like side shades blocking outside air and adding to the modern design!

I love my July! It's so much quieter and does a much better job cooling than my old unit. The installation is as easy as promised--I did it myself with no issues. Plus I love that it connects to wifi so I can control it from my phone. Great customer service as well--I was kept informed for all steps of the delivery and any issues were sorted out immediately. Totally worth the wait!
A really smart A/C
July is amazing! I found it super easy to install, even though I've had trouble with installing A/Cs in the past. My favorite part is the app: I have pets at home, so I can turn on for a short time while I'm at work, without having to run it the whole day. Game changer!
Great app features
July looks great, but my favorite thing about it is that I can control it with my Alexa. WiFi and app were simple to get set up, and then I was able to connect it to Alexa in no time. Great product!
Finally, an AC that is isn't visually offensive!
I love my July AC. I didn't have it professionally installed and though it was pretty heavy, I was able to install it on my own fairly easily. It looks clean and attractive in the window, and once I purchased the plexiglass kit it looked better and let in a good amount of light. I love being able to turn it on from my phone, and it seems a bit quieter than other AC units I've had. Any time I've had an issue or a question, customer service has been super responsive and helpful.
PERFECTION
Quiet and efficient. I honestly bought this because I thought it looked nice but it works even better than it looks. I never thought I would care about wifi compatible ac but wow what a dream. Biking back from the beach and turning on the just in time for my apartment to be perfectly cold when I get home is something I never thought I would experience. It doesn't hurt to look either.

Finally an air conditioner that isn't ugly! I have the simple all-white July, and I love it. I've started decorating it with stickers and it's pretty cute. It's a lot quieter than the A/C units I've had in the past. The "Dry" function is amazing for the gross humid weather in NYC. It's also nice to be able to control from my phone when I'm not home!

From actual cooling to app connectivity and smart home integration, July has made a solid modern solution for the ever-present window AC challenge. Most don't cool as effectively as July, and the app and smart home integration have literally never failed me (as of yet). My only complaint is that the material on the fabric front panel visibly catches dust more than I'd like, and the magnets aren't quite as strong as I think they need to be. Otherwise, no notes.
A/C is beautiful and works great!
Never had A/C before, largely for aesthetic reasons. This of course checks that box. And works super well! Cool as a cucumber. The bluetooth functionality too is huge. The app is a little janky and slow, but let's hope for improvements in v2.

Nice looking okay functioning
I think July looks nice. It's not hard to understand how it functions but there are areas they could improve. There is a big gap between the unit when the installed and the window ledge that wasn't there in the previous unit. Bugs and cold air can get in easily. Haven't found a solution for that yet. The panels on the side rip and crease easily. They installed the bedroom unit on the fire escape side and we didn't realize that until they left. We had to reinstall it on the other side and the panels got some tears in them. The front cover comes off easily because it is stuck on with magnets. Bought 3 units probably wouldn't buy in my next home unless those issues had been addressed.

"I preordered the small one in February - this one I had installed by the July people in my bedroom, which was so quick and easy for me. It was so important for me to get a physically and visually unobtrusive because the side of the foot of my bed is necessarily about six inches from that window. This was perfect. I like that the auto setting makes sense and isn't arbitrary. I like that I can actually find the remote on my nightstand. Criticisms in the middle: this is as hard or harder for one normal person to install or remove by themselves than a regular ac. It's fine, absolutely doable, but it's not as easy as advertised. It'd be super easy with a co-star. SECOND one. So the bedroom on was great, but I still work at home. Luckily when I broke down and finally went ac shopping for my living room (there is no door between that and my kitchen, so I needed to account for the extra space sucking away the cold), the large July was available for 30 seconds. I did shop around for this one, because I didn't NEED something so pretty and did need something effective. It's cheaper than the very heavy utilitarian ones, and is perfect (the space it cools is about 310 sqft). Same everything else as above. This one was hard, physically and emotionally to put in, but isn't coming back out (the plexiglass sides are great but were hard for me to put in totally straight."

Efficient and powerful
My July is great. I had to wait a bit to receive it as they were on preorder, but toally worth it. It cools down my room in no time (it's August, and it's hot) and I love the wood panel that matches my furniture.

An A/C like no other!
July is honestly the best looking A/C that's out there - and the quality of the actual product lives up to the images. Really easy to install too.
Looks nice but not that different than a typical AC
Set up was easier than some other ACs but not as easy as they make it seem. My first unit didn't work - it was annoying waiting for the new one but customer service was great. I don't like that there's a small gap underneath the unit and my window frame (this might be different with other windows). It doesn't cool as effectively as I'd like - though had this issue with another AC in the same room so it might be something with the room. Happy overall with it but was a bit disappointed from my expectations.

Much better looking than other AC units on the market and the frame in particular is a great innovation. I was able to install it myself with no help and it came out level and looking great.

Best Air Conditioner Ever
I cannot say enough good things about my July. I went through four different air conditioners before I got my July, other ones kept shorting out in my pre-war building or were a huge headache to install. July works perfectly with my decor and isn't an eyesore, my super said he'd never seen an easier AC install, and the automation settings work great too. 10/10 have recommended to literally everyone.
Works well, looks good
All in all very satisfied. It looks cute, fits well with a small space, and when left on the 750 sft space cools well during the summer. Only issues are with the screen used to partition the outside: the tape doesn't stick well. But would get another unit :)
